As we close out the third year of our Pacific Innovation & Technology Academy (PITA) Cohort, we are honored to have been featured in a recent newsletter and Year in Review highlighting Administration for Native Americans (ANA) projects across the Pacific Region.
While we continue to build our mission remains the same: raising awareness about substance abuse through outreach, education, and prevention. We believe prevention means creating opportunities. By investing in workforce development, technology education, and innovation in American Samoa, we provide positive alternatives, brighter futures, and hope for our people.
Thank you to our students, instructors, partners, supporters, and the Administration for Native Americans for believing in this vision. The work continues, and the best is yet to come.
From American Sāmoa to Hawai‘i, presenters Fiafia Sunia of the Christopher James Foeoletini Ledoux Foundation and Keoua Nelson of Papahana Kuaola highlighted the importance of community-driven decision-making and the many ways ANA projects collaborate with their communities to turn data into meaningful change across the Pacific. As Fiafia concluded during his presentation, our “Blue Continent” continues to demonstrate the strength and impact that can be achieved when community remains at the forefront of our work.
